I am so glad we used Integrity Tile and Carpentry for our shower remodel. Working with Jay is a pleasure. He is prompt, responsive to questions, charges a fair price, and most importantly, the quality of his work product is absolutely spectacular. We're excited to work with Jay again on future renovation projects.
Jay did a great job for us transforming a cramped dark basement bath to an inviting space. He came in on time and on price and stayed flexible when faced with some unforeseen issues. The construction business is a different beast. Many contractors don’t communicate well, don’t show up when they say they will and don’t get done on time. Jay is nothing like that. He only works on one job at a time, he’s very upfront about pricing and he finishes when he says he will. He can problem solve if needed (my error) and the end project is amazing. Highly recommend!
I've worked on many projects with Jay. As a fellow contractor I usually don't give referrals but Jay is the exception. His attention to detail and job planning is something I don't see executed correctly but he knows how to set and keep a schedule. This makes it incredibly easy for me as a plumbing contractor to do my job and save the customer time and money. I always look forward to working on Jay's projects because it's thought out and scheduled how it should be. He commits to a customers project and you get him when and his word. Jay has completed three projects for us: kitchen tile backsplash, total main bathroom remodel, and deck replacement. His skill, attention to detail and craftsmanship are truly impressive! On the business side, he is on schedule, communicates well, is transparent and honest. And he’s a very nice person too! My partner and I waited 20-plus years to remodel the bathroom connected to our bedroom. We did this because we had children and wanted to keep the other spaces in our fixer home updated and safe. In other words, we put family and visitors before the two of us. And one more thing: We were intimidated by what to do in the space and what it might cost. As the kids got older, we decided it was time. Luckily, we were introduced to Jay at Integrity Tile and Carpentry. Jay was a wonderful guy to speak to about many things and great at helping us understand everything from budget and design to products and finishes. Ultimately, he helped us redesign our entire space and worked with us when we needed to make some tweaks. Our bathroom is now everything we dreamed of, meeting all our needs. I have recommended him to anyone looking to remodel or finish a space. He is also a great human being, and that matters, too.
We hired Integrity Tile & Carpentry to renovate our bakery’s front counter and service area, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! This was a very technical and detailed project that included removing a wall, moving a substantial counter/bar and making sure the end result blended seamlessly into the existing structure. Jay was incredibly professional, detail-oriented, and respectful of our space and timeline, including the fact that the work needed to be done when we weren’t open. The new counter configuration is not only beautiful but also perfectly functional for our needs. It added a warm, welcoming touch to our shop and has received compliments from our customers. Highly recommend their services for any custom carpentry work!
Jay does outstanding work at a fair price--and on time, too. I especially appreciate the way he made sure to understand what I wanted and kept me informed as jobs progressed! I plan to hire him again for my next project.
Jay has done many projects for us from tiling bathrooms, fireplace and built us a pergola in the backyard for us to gather in. All his work is beautifully done, on time and for the price quoted. We would highly recommend him.

Jay did a beautiful job installing a new tile shower and floor in one bathroom, new wall and floor tile in our second bathroom, and just installed our new front door. He is great on communication and making sure that everything is done right.

Jay is located quite a ways away from us but if you can get him he never disappoints. He has worked on numerous project in our home for last 10 years. The last one our master suit worked out great. Excellent at tile and does great doors wood work and always open to try something new like our padded wall panels. Fair price and very dependable can't go wrong.

We looked at several other tile companies before selecting Jay Spencer at Integrity Tile and Carpentry. We were very happy with our choice. Jay is very friendly and professional, and an expert at tile and carpentry. Plus, his price was very reasonable. We needed to update our 1960’s extra bathroom. The shower was very dated: boxy, claustrophobic, and shut in with with a textured glass door. We wanted to open up the showers profile, retile the walls and floor, and enclose it in clear glass. It involved removing part of one wall, which lets in more light. And while we were at it, we wanted to tile bathroom floor. Jay Spencer was perfect for this work, and was up to the job. He is an excellent tile installer, and an able carpenter for the work we needed. His work was thorough, looks great, and it should last another sixty years.
Jay is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, & easy to work with. He is very clear & does what he says he will. His prices are fair. We were stumped about what to do in a few areas of our remodel until Jay presented us with several ideas. 1,000% would hire again!
"When our primary suite shower tile started to fail and the heated floor cracked underfoot, we searched for answers and someone who could repair the problems. With a recommendation from friends, we contacted Jay. After a careful inspection of the problems, Jay told us the initial installation of both the shower and the floor, only eight years earlier, had been improperly done and could not be repaired but had to be replaced. He was sympathetic and honest in his appraisal. Jay provided us with a detailed bid to do both the shower and the floor and a list of references who all had high praise for his craftsmanship and for the experience of working with Jay. Jay completed the work in our home while we were out of town. Each day, he sent pictures of the work in progress and called if he had any thoughts or questions we should discuss. We came home to a beautifully transformed primary suite bath and could not have been happier with Jay's work and with the whole process! Since then, Jay has done work for several of our family and friends and we feel so fortunate to have found Jay.
